Welcome to The Good Day Cafe — a tiny, perfectly designed cubby that looks straight out of a Pinterest board. And, of course, no dream project is complete without the perfect colour palette. That’s where Tint came in!

↑ Exterior painted in our pure black - No Battery.

For the exterior they opted for No Battery, a deep, pure black, to give the cubby a sleek and modern look. The dark exterior makes the bright interior pop and blends beautifully into the backyard greenery. No Battery is the same colour used on the exterior of their own home, making this cubby a miniature version of their house! Not only does this make the cubby perfectly blend in but it also makes the play space feel like a true extension of their home.

↑ Checkered flooring painted in our dark red - Wine and Unwind and our warm white - Old School, both in Trim

The flooring features a showstopping checkered floor painted in Wine and Unwind, a rich, dark red, and Old School, a warm white. This combination brings a nostalgic, vintage feel— perfect for a playful yet stylish touch.

With an initial hesitation to strip the charm of the wood by painting over it, Al + Imo went for a fresh and timeless look, by painting the walls in a warm white, Old School. To ensure an extra flawless finish, the walls were prepped with Prep Plus - our multi-purpose, primer-sealer-undercoat.

To balance out the bold floor, they chose our soft greyish-blue, Bubble Bath, to paint the chairs. This subtle, dreamy hue adds just the right amount of contrast while keeping the space light and inviting.
