Top tips for painting the nursery
Baby on the way? No doubt one of the top to-do’s on your pre-baby GSD (get s*** done) list is the nursery. Not sure where to start with colour picks? That’s where we come in with our top colour tips for painting a nursery, why low VOC is so important plus a few creative ways to use the leftover paint.
The first day, weeks and months after the arrival of your baby is sure to be a whirlwind of super special moments. Creating a space that you can really enjoy with your new fam-bam during this time is something you won’t regret — a fresh lick of pre-bub paint can really do wonders in making a peaceful, enjoyable space for everyone to get better acquainted in down the track.

Maybe it’s a neutral palette of light grey, pale dusty green or muted pistachio. It could be a clean pale pink, a warm blush or a greyish blue to create a loving space. How you choose to roll is up to you. Once you decide on the right shade, any leftover paint from your chosen wall colour can be used to spruce up any wooden toys, drawers or furniture.

While it’s important your nursery space looks good, an even bigger concern should be that it’s safe for you and your bub. One thing you’ll want to avoid as much as possible: VOCs, also known as volatile organic compounds which are commonly found in paint products. The good news? Our entire paint range is specially formulated to be more than 99% free from the air-polluting VOC. A win-win for everyone, really. So let’s talk colours:
